Welcome to Boston! This week, Kayla prepares a classic El Presidente cocktail with Flor de Caña 12-Year and a deliciously sustainable Nica Sour, a variation of the New York Sour. Enjoy!
FLOR PRESIDENTE:
- 2 oz. of Flor de Caña 12-Year
- 1 oz. of Blanc Vermouth
- 2 dashes of Dry Curaçao
- 2 dashes of Home-Made Grenadine
Preparation Method:
In a mixing glass, add all ingredient and ice cubes. Mix with a cocktail spoon and serve in a glass using a strainer. Enjoy!
NICA SOUR:
- 2 oz. of Flor de Caña 12-Year
- 1 oz. of Home-made Red Wine Syrup
- 0.5 oz. of Natural Lemon Juice
- 1 dash of Orange Bitter
- 1 Egg White
Preparation Method:
In a shaker, add abundant ice and all ingredients. Shake vigorously. Discard the ice and shake the liquid vigorously once more. Pour the cocktail into your glass and enjoy!
